Its primary functions are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Deep nourishment and barrier support:<\/strong> Its rich lipid content and high concentration of sterols (like beta-sitosterol) help to reinforce the skin&#8217;s lipid barrier, improving hydration and resilience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Skin conditioning and regeneration:<\/strong> Promotes skin softening and smoothness, and is often associated with supporting the skin&#8217;s natural repair processes due to its nutrient profile.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Antioxidant protection:<\/strong> A natural source of vitamin E and carotenoids, helping to protect skin lipids from oxidative damage.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Why we use it:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>We use it as a powerhouse nourishing agent in treatments designed for intensive moisturization and barrier repair.
