As a primary amino acid in the stratum corneum, it plays several essential roles:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>NMF:<\/strong> As part of the skin&#8217;s natural moisturizing system, it helps attract and bind water to the outer layers of the epidermis, contributing to optimal hydration levels.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Collagen support:<\/strong> Glycine is the most abundant amino acid in collagen, comprising approximately one-third of its structure.
