What it does
This ingredient provides smaller, bioavailable pieces of the skin's natural supportive sugar mesh . Primary functions:
- Enhanced hydration: As hydrolyzed fragments, they retain strong water-binding (humectant) capacity, helping to attract and hold moisture in the skin, improving hydration and plumpness
- Skin barrier and structure support: GAGs are fundamental components of the skin's dermal matrix. Providing bioavailable fragments can help support the skin's natural repair processes and maintain a healthy, resilient structure.
